The workshop focused on a very important topic for the Action and more broadly for society: how do we raise awareness and advocate for medical and agricultural applications of RNA technologies. We were honored to have Thomas Crampton and Rob Blackie, experts from Greenlight Bioscience, sharing their knowledge on their study on attitudes of the general public towards RNA technologies and potential ways of improving the language we use to talk about our discoveries and technologies. There was also a panel discussion that included engagement with the public on the topic of RNA research and innovations.
